Arcade Fire is an Indie Rock band based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and fronted by husband and wife duo of Win Butler and Régine Chassagne. In addition to mainstays guitar instruments, drums and bass guitar, members play piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass, xylophone, keyboards, French horn, accordion, Hurdy gurdy, lute and mandolin. The Arcade Fire take most of their instruments on tour, and the multi-instrumentalist band members switch instrumental duties throughout the show.
Hhmm ... weird can not put into any genre. My impression was of this band. all references seem to be mixed stir in their sound ranging from rock, folk, post-rock, post-punk, and even blues. But their music into the category of "canadian".
